Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad on Friday said several changes are being brought in revenue administration to resolve land related problems being faced by the people.

Blaming the erstwhile government for accumulation of several land related disputes over ownership and survey numbers, he said after a review meeting with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and other officials at the Secretariat that they have decided to issue certificates on inherited properties from the village/ward secretariats on payment of nominal amount.

He told the media that the government is committed to implement the Super Six Guarantees given at the time of elections. He said the government is also firm in providing houses to the poorer sections with decent living conditions in the next three years, unlike the previous regime.

The Minister said a Cabinet sub-committee has been formed with three Ministers to implement their mission "housing for all.'

He said out of 4.63 lakh grievances received from the public, over 90,000 have been resolved adding steps are being taken to resolve the remaining grievances in course of time.

Earlier, Naidu cleared the proposal to issue section certificates for inherited immovable properties and expressed his anguish over slow progress in resolving the land-related grievances.

Admitting that during the erstwhile regime a lot of land issues and disputes regarding survey number arose, he said the revenue officials should set them right by following rules and guidelines in force.
